Normally, moving or copying a file to another location in Windows XP can be a chore since it involves using the cut or copy operations first, followed by navigating to the folder (which typically involves more than a few clicks) and finally selecting the paste operation.
To save on some valuable clicks, it is possible to add two entries to the right-click context menu, namely the 'Copy To Folder' and 'Move To Folder' commands, which allow you to copy and move files or folders to any destination, simply by selecting it and then choosing the desired location from the dialog box. Enabling these two options requires some changes in the Windows Registry, so ensure that you have a Registry backup in place.
Open Notepad and type in the following lines exactly as they appear below:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesys temObjects\shellex\ContextMen uHandlers\{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-OOC04FD75D13}]
[HKEY_CLASSES ROOT\AllFilesys temObjects\shellex\ContextMen uHandlers\{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-OOC04FD75D13}]
